Interprofessional education (IPE) is a collaborative pedagogical approach for preparing future healthcare practitioners to be effective team members in the healthcare system, to address growing and complex medical issues.
Now, FUE Pharmacy in collaboration with FUE Dentistry run IPE sessions for optimisation of curriculum delivery and better understanding of real practice life.
Winter break 2022
Activity Overview:
A total of 11 students from Dentistry and Pharmacy had participated in the IPE programme during their winter break. The 2 cohorts of participants attended some interactive lectures and practical sessions together. Also, summative, and formative evaluations were held before and after the activity. This 3-day training was designed and delivered by Dr. Seif EL Hadidi from FUE Pharmacy and Dr. Sherif Amer from FUE Dentistry.
