The Community Services and Environmental Development Sector, Faculty of Pharmacy, held a mini-conference titled Addiction: Risks and Treatments for Youth Mini-Conference, on Monday 9/10/2023 at the FUE Campus in cooperation with National Committee of Toxicology to implement the importance of raising the youth awareness about addiction risks under the patronage of FUE President, Prof. Dr. Ebada Sarhan and Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Prof. Dr. Hanan Refaat. The event comprised a number of interesting talks by reputable Professors in the field where; Prof. Dr. Hanan Al Abhor Head, Department of Pharmacology, Toxicology and Biochemistry (NCT Member) gave a lecture entitled (Addiction: Types and Risk Factors). Prof. Dr. Nadia Gamal El Din National Research Center (NCT Member) gave a lecture entitled (Drug’s Addiction: Types and Health Hazards) While Prof. Dr. Ghada Fouad, Audit General Manager Forensic Medicine Authority (NCT Member) presented a lecture entitled (Chemical Analysis of Drugs: Addiction from the Forensic Medical Point of View). Finally, Prof. Dr. Khaled Al Sebay Clinical Psychologist and Addiction Treatment (NCT Member) presented a lecture entitled (Psychological and Therapeutic Treatment of Drug Addiction).
