Title: Hepatitis C Awareness Campaign

Event Details:
• On the above-mentioned date members of the EPSF Public Health Committee divided themselves into 2 groups and distributed flyers at the Club. The purpose of the flyer distribution is to promote people’s awareness pf HIV. The flyer content included a simplified description of the virus, how it is transmitted and protection measures as well as treatment.
• One group addressed the simple-minded people found at the fair. Attendees showed a great deal of interest. The other group went to the Food Court of the Club to address the people there. Presenters explained the HIV is now spreading at a fast rate, stating that this is particularly notable in the past few years. The presentation included warnings and precautions that should be taken against using contaminated objects such as razor blades, tooth brushes, etc.… Moreover, periodic blood tests were strongly emphasized.
• They ended their campaign by wishing every one the best of health and assuring the precaution is better than cure.
