This report covers the latest initiatives of FUE’s EPSF student members:

Committee: ESPF Professional Development Committee
Title of Event: Pharmacists Role Awareness Campaign (PRAC) Event
Location: Al-Ahli Club (Nasr City)

Number of Participants: 5 EPSF student members


Event Details:
• On the above-mentioned date a PRAC event took place, Mr Tawfik Ahmed Tawfik, President of EPSF and Ms Radwa Mohmed, Head of PRAC distributed flyers and candy to the members of the Committee who wore the branded tee-shirts sent to them by the organizing committee of the Arab Republic Egyptian Pharmacist Student Federation. The message on the tee-shirts read: ”The World Needs Us”.
• The attendees were divided into two teams, one team to cover the on-campus area and the other for the designated off-campus area, each was assigned a location to conduct an awareness campaign covering the true role of pharmacists as well as surveys. Members gave away candy to the kids and to individuals who supported the role of the pharmacists. The team responsible for the Food Court was welcomed by the club members who were highly supportive of the opinion poll. It was explained that there are two types of pharmacists, those who believe in their role and others who are in just for the money.
• The event ended with a group picture of the members and those supportive attendees.
