Students learn systematic approach to assessing , training and treating self-treatable conditions about non-prescription or over-the-counter medications: benefits and risks, use in the general population and special populations, therapeutic errors and misuse, storage and disposal , responding to symptoms for recommendation for analgesics and antipyretics, cold, cough, allergy, nighttime sleep-aids, gastrointestinal, dermatological, pediatric, vaginal, anorectal medications, head hair, nail, nasal, optic, and otic products, dietary supplements, cosmetics, medical devices, kits and accessories.
