Celebrating the Success Story of FUE Alumnus Ahmed Samir Yacoub
Celebrating the Success Story of FUE Alumnus Ahmed Samir Yacoub At Future University in Egypt (FUE), we take pride in the accomplishments of our graduates who reflect the values, excellence, and vision of our institution. One remarkable example is the journey of Ahmed Samir Yacoub, an FUE alumnus whose path demonstrates determination, academic excellence, and the impact of meaningful opportunities. Ahmed began his studies at the Faculty of Pharmacy, graduating with honors in 2015 and ranking among the top of his class. His dedication to learning and outstanding academic performance led him to join the university as a Teaching Assistant, and later as an Assistant Lecturer in Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Technology. During his time at FUE, he contributed to academic development and actively served on university committees and events, supporting and mentoring future pharmacists. Recognizing his potential, FUE awarded Ahmed a scholarship in 2016 to pursue his master’s degree at Cairo University, specializing in drug delivery and autoimmune diseases. This step marked the beginning of his academic and research advancement. In 2023, Ahmed received a USAID exchange visitor scholarship, granting him the opportunity to participate in international research collaborations. He later secured a PhD scholarship that enabled him to join the University of Texas at Arlington in the United States as a PhD student in the Department of Kinesiology. He is currently a researcher at the Bone-Muscle Research Center, focusing on innovative biomaterials for bone regeneration. Ahmed’s academic journey abroad has already been distinguished by notable achievements. In 2025, he won first place in the AADOCR National Student Research Group 411 Rapid Research Competition in New York. Shortly afterward, he was elected Regional Representative for the AADOCR NSRG, representing student researchers across the United States and building connections within the dental and craniofacial research community. Ahmed’s story reflects the long-term impact of education and support. From his years as an undergraduate student, to his early academic career at FUE, and throughout his postgraduate development, the university has been proud to contribute to his growth through scholarships, mentorship, and encouragement. His journey stands as an inspiration to current and future students, proving that with commitment, resilience, and the support of FUE, there are no limits to what can be achieved.
